Links of the Week (9/16/2019)

With all the Apple news last week, I thought I’d give you a quick list of links to the various new Apple products and services.

Yes there’s a new iPhone. It’s better, faster, and shoots even BETTER photos and video.

Yes there is a new iPad. They made it cheaper, blazing fast, has a smart connection for a keyboard, and is Apple Pencil compatible.

And…Yes, there’s a new Apple Watch. Has an always on display, is faster, and looks great.

With every new iteration of iOS, I’ve had a pull to return to Apple’s own first-party apps. With iOS 13, that pull is stronger than ever:

Moving Back to Apple’s Stock Apps – The Sweet Setup

Games are available to up to six family members through Apple’s Family Sharing feature, sync progress across devices with iCloud, and do not require an Internet connection to be played.

​This will be huge for my kids…and maybe me. 🙂

Firstly, the radio stations feature is launching on HomePod on September 30. However, the previously-announced multi-user support and the music handoff features are not coming in September. Apple simply says ‘later this fall’. They also teased a new white noise mode that they hadn’t talked about before…

With Apple’s shows, most series will debut three episodes at launch, with new episodes released weekly thereafter. However, some series will drop full seasons at once, following the Netflix-style binge model.
